The USSI Acoustic Monitoring System can detect unusual acoustic activity such as tampering, theft or damage to pipelines caused by construction equipment.
The acoustic sensitivity of the USSI System also allows for monitoring of flow leaks, which cannot be detected by conventional flow metering until substantial damage has occurred. The USSI detects acoustic energy with much greater and faster remedial action of smaller leaks before large-scale environmental damage and hazardous conditions prevail.
